Ríšsky snem má sídlo na Radničnom námestí 26 v Bardejove. Spravidla sa v Bardejove Ríšsky snem schádza na ustanovujúcich schôdzach novozvoleného snemu. V Bardejove sa tiež Ríšsky snem schádza, ak ide o mimoriadne zasadanie (mimo plánu zasadnutí).
V Radnici v Regensburgu sa schádzal Ríšsky snem historickej Svätej ríše rímskej národa nemeckého. Dnes sa v Regensburgu schádza Ríšsky snem SRR-AC na poslednom zasadaní pred voľbami, a tiež niekedy pri mimoriadnych zasadnutiach (mimo plánu zasadnutí). Inak sa jeho stretnutia organizujú rotačným princípom v provinciách po celom cisárstve.

1. Horná komora: Kolégium kurfirstov / Kurfürstenrat / The Council of Electors
The Council of Electors consists of 9 permanent Prince-Electors and 6 additional Prince-Electors if appointed according to Article 45. The Council of Electors, together with the Emperor, holds the highest authority in society and, apart from the competencies defined by the Constitution, serves as an advisory body to the Emperor.
V Kolégiu kurfirstov je 9 permanentných kurfirstov a 6 doplnení kurfirsti ak sú ustanovení podľa čl. 45 Ústavy SRR-AC. Kolégium kurfirstov má spolu s cisárom v spoločnosti najvyššiu autoritu a okrem kompetencií podľa ústavy je poradným orgánom cisára.

2. Stredná komora: Kolégium ríšskych kniežat/ Reichfürstenrat / The Council of Princes
The Council of Princes consists of 120 Imperial Princes. Imperial Princes do not assume the princely title unless they have acquired it according to Article 10 of the Constitution. Each province has four Imperial Princes in the Council of Princes:
a) two Imperial Princes elected in gene-ral elections for 6 months, alternately in one third of the provinces in elections held every 2 months,
b) one Imperial Prince elected by the newly elected provincial council for 6 months, alternately in one third of the provinces,
c) the head of the province or a delega-te appointed by them; the head of a province who is a member of the Council of Electors is represented in the Council of Princes by an envoy delegated by them.
V Kolégiu ríšskych kniežat je 120 ríšskych kniežat. Ríšske kniežatá nepreberajú kniežací titul, pokiaľ ho nemajú nadobudnutý podľa čl. 10 ústavy. Každá provincia má v Kolégiu ríšskych kniežat štyri ríšske kniežatá:
a) dve ríšske kniežatá volené vo všeľudových voľbách na 6 mesiacov striedavo v jednej tretine provincií vo voľbách, ktoré sa konajú každé 2 mesiace,
b) jedno ríšske knieža volené novozvolenou provinčnou radou na 6 mesiacov striedavo v jednej tretine provincií,
c) hlava provincie alebo ňou delegovaný vyslanec; hlava provincie, ktorá je členom Kolégia kurfirstov je v Kolégiu ríšskych kniežat zastúpená ňou delegovaným vyslancom.

3. Dolná komora: Ľudové zhromaždenie/ Volksrat / The House of the People
The House of the People consists of Members of the House of the People in
number determined according to the annually statistically updated population of The Holy Roman Empire – Arau Empire; for every 600,000 inhabitants, there is one Member of the House of the People. Members are elected in general elections. The term of the House of the People is 4 months.
Half of the seats are elected in single-member constituencies: a candidate needs an absolute majority in the first round, or first place and at least 40% of the vote in the second. Some unfilled constituency seats become compensatory seats allocated proportionally according to the votes cast for unsuccessful candidates. The remaining seats—usually more than half of the chamber—are distributed proportionally in a single Empire-wide constituency, with each voter having seven votes and parties subject to a 5% threshold.

Ľudové zhromaždenie pozostáva z poslancov v počte stanovenom podľa každoročne štatisticky aktualizovaného počtu obyvateľov Svätej ríše rímskej – Arauského cisárstva; na každých 600 tisíc obyvateľov pripadá jeden poslanec. Poslanci sú volení vo všeľudových voľbách. Funkčné obdobie Ľudového zhromaždenia sú 4 mesiace.
Polovica kresiel sa volí vo väčšinových jednomandátových obvodoch: kandidát potrebuje v prvom kole nadpolovičnú väčšinu, prípadne v druhom kole prvenstvo a najmenej 40 % hlasov. Časť neobsadených mandátov sa mení na kompenzačné kreslá rozdelené pomerne podľa hlasov neúspešných kandidátov. Zvyšné kreslá (zvyčajne je to viac ako polovica snemovne) sa prideľujú pomerne v jednom celo-ríšskom obvode, pričom volič disponuje siedmimi hlasmi a platí päťpercentná hranica.

The meeting days of the Imperial Diet are generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the following schedule:
a) On the 1st meeting day, the House of the People (1,3) and the Council of Princes (2,4) convene,
b) On the 2nd meeting day, the Council of Electors (5) and the Conclusum Duorum (6) convene,
c) On the 3rd meeting day, the Conclusum Trioum (8,9) meets first, followed by the House of the People (7) and the Conclusum Duorum (*6).
In the case of constitutional statutes:
a) On the 1st meeting day, the House of the People (10,15,22) and the Council of Princes (11,16,21) convene,
b) On the 2nd meeting day, the Council of Electors (12,17) and the Conclusum Duorum (13,18) convene,
c) On the 3rd meeting day, the Conclusum Trioum (14,19) and the General Estates (20) convene.“
Rokovacími dňami Ríšskeho snemu sú spravidla utorok, streda a štvrtok, pričom v
