The Viceimperator is the permanent deputy of the Emperor. The Viceimperator shall act on behalf of the Emperor to the extent delegated by the Emperor. If the throne is vacant, the Emperor is not elected, is underage, incapable of performing their duties, or is absent for an extended period, the Viceimperator shall assume the role of Imperial Regent and exercise all powers of the Emperor until the Emperor resumes office. Viceimperátor je stály zástupca cisára. Viceimperátor koná v mene cisára v rozsahu, v akom ho cisár poverí. Ak je trón uprázdnený, cisár nezvolený, neplnoletý, nespôsobilý na výkon funkcie alebo dlhodobo neprítomný, viceimperátor sa stáva cisárskym regentom a vykonáva všetky právomoci cisára až do jeho opätovného nástupu do úradu.
